Carnation, one of my favorite flowers however they hold a very depressing meaning
Yellow carnation means rejection
and striped carnation means refusal
.
Goodness, how come pretty flowers symbolize such sadness??

even my favorite lilies are depicted with depressing meanings as well. i still like them nevertheless :)
